Mucho props!!

 

The first time I logged on to the Internet (in 1997 or 1998), the first thing I searched was "Camaro". The first site I visited was this one!

 

"The two of you (or as we'd say in Pennsylvania-- 'The two of youse' ) -- more than anyone -- had so much to do with the Camaro coming back."


lol, couple that with youse guys, hehehe.

anyway, if it weren't for this site, i'd probably have given up on camaros as i've had a few very disappointing events in my short little life revolving around cars that have made me want to give up on them. the site was always on my "to check" list when online, even if there was no new news, there was always a new to me tech article to read just to pass the time. and the lounge ot hear about how others stuck with their cars for so long.

A well deserved thanks to Jason and Chris. I found this site around the time I was on the "4th gen digest" mailing list from Fbody.org. I remember being led here from the site on the Phantom SS back when the Phantom SS had an LT1 - reading the painful story about a theft that occurred while the car was at a shop, and the loss of a lot of nice audio equipment like Lanzar amps and such. Y'all have come a long way since then!

I'm still amazed at all the enthusiast input that Chevrolet gathered during the process of bringing the new Camaro to life. That plus the hard work of everyone at GM has produced one helluva car - I sat in a 2SS for the first time this week, and let me tell you what, this car has it going on. It's a question of when, not if I will buy one. Since there are no T-Tops I may do a convertible!

 

That was actually my ATI Procharged 1995 Camaro Z28, not Jason's Phantom SS. Did you have to bring back such bad memories? hehehe j/k I guess you could consider that a blog, before blogs were invented.

Ahh, I did mix it up. I see in your sig that you still have the 95, that's awesome! Likewise, I think I have to work out a way to keep my 99 when I get my 2010+ Camaro.

 

Chris and Jason;

Before I found your web site, I was wondering if was the “odd man out” because I was into Camaro. But finding this community and having fellow members with the same passion as I do made me right at home.

So a big THANKS to both of you for leading the charge and keeping faith that our “old friend” would return. Another THANKS goes to the “disciples” who help make the finally product the way it is today.

Finally, on day I seat in my new Camaro and drive it home, I will think about all the people that made that happy moment for me, all of my fellow members, Chris and Jason, and the GM team- THANK YOU.

 

Yeah, Jason and Chris have done a tremendous job with this site and by the description Scott gave, sounds like those guys had a lot to do with the resurrection of Camaro, too. I'll tip my hat to you, guys!

And a big thanks also to Scott. I'm sure your part was not small either during these past few years that have passed. Even though you were officially doing "other" stuff over there.

I met you a couple of time at the Texas State Fair a couple of years back and you took the time to sign my car both times and still had time to exchange a few words about them.
