Well I have been following the Camaro for quite some time. I have never seen the car in person, just photos. I am out of the country right now and will be back in a few days.

So my wife (who could give a crap about the new Camaro) calls me to tell me she is sitting in a new Camaro. I was like YGTBSM! She had to rub it in. If there is a plus side she said it was very nice. This of course helps my argument to purchase one.

The first thing I am going to do when I get back in the states is to go see that car!

 

I had the same reaction when my Dad phoned me and said, "you'll never guess what I did today" ...

... and something in his tone (all giddy and devilish sounding!) tipped me off. I said, "you sat in a new Camaro, didn't you, you b@st@rd!?!? "

He said, "not only did I SIT in one, I got to DRIVE IT too!!".

I was so jealous!! (so I know the feeling ... but it does go away when you finally get to sit in / drive one yourself ).

 

LOL. Well at least she didn't drive it. That would have really set me off.

Well I finally saw one today. I had a layover at the Detroit airport and saw a silver v6 they had on display. All I can say is wow! This thing looks awesome in person. I called my wife right away and told her to expect one of these in our driveway within the year. Things are looking up at my work and I should be back up to my previous pay soon which would more than pay for it. There is an open house at a local dealership on Wednesday to show off the Camaro. I just pulled my 97 Z out of storage and plan to drive it there to check it out. I really want to get a chance to sit in it and crawl all over it.
