Re: July GM High Tech Mag
Dosnt sound very accurate to me. It just seems to be grabing speculation from across the forums. I am assuming if there was a confirmation of '09 production and '10 release, we would have heard it on here and not in mags that were run through their final edit a few months back. I personally wont believe anything until Scott can give us a definate answer, until then I think we just have to wait.
BTW, I am very suprised there hasnt been any leaks like the one with the concept pics. I assume they are keeping parts manufacturers on a tight leash, but then again there are always those who know but cannot say anything. I for one, would love some accurate information, I am getting very tired of this stuff. It is kinda ruining it for me, and if by some chance GM decideds to screw it up.......well we all know it could definatly happen, I mean they have the ability to mess up on any given project, its in their reputation.

Well........SOMEONE at GMHTP doesn't have to go to the gym tonite!
(cause they got LOTS of exercise by JUMPING TO CONCLUSIONS!)
Most is wrongwrongwrong. Anyone that knows the answers is certainly, (at least I hope so) not stupid enough to leak info. to a magazine. (and by the way -- we didn't invite that magazine -- or any other, for that mattter) to any meeting.
Confirmed? DON'T THINK SO!

Re: July GM High Tech Mag
Yeah, what would be the point of shipping them from Australia, when there are plants in Canada/USA that are under capacity and could easily take the Camaro/Other Zetas?

Re: July GM High Tech Mag
Will be built in Austrailia. Yeeeeeah. It makes a lot of sense to import 100,000+ cars a year from overseas.
I seriously doubt they are reconsidering the IRS. At least, I hope not.

If they build one with the LH6 (5.x Liter V8) and a posi rear end w/ a 5 or 6 speed manual in red I will buy one.

Re: July GM High Tech Mag
yea, and if anything why wouldnt it be produced here in the USA, the whole australian thing would be too much money, therefore the camaro would have bad sales, and it would flop, i doubt gm wants to do another recreation of the new generation GTO's
