Letter from Ed Peper
I'm not sure if this is the letter Chris and Jason were talking about in one of the last podcasts, but I did receive this letter in the mail today.
Dear XXX,
Thank you for ordering your all new 2010 Chevy Camaro. Progressive in design, engineering and technology, Camaro is the 21st century sports car. But bold words and superlatives can't truly capture the soul of Camaro. And you know this well - it's why you reserved yours and can't wait to slide into it's driver seat.
Your enthusiasm is fueling us to deliver a vehicle that exceeds your dreams. And rest assured, we are working full speed to fulfill your request.
You'll be hearing from us soon. Thanks again.

open question to the powers that be...
What data base would Chevrolet use to generate these letters?
The reason I ask, my letter had my name misspelled(happens all the time) and the letter was sent to an address that was different (but valid) from the one I used to place the order. I stopped by my dealer today to verify that my name and address was correct in their system, which it was. I also called Chevrolet, but I'm sure you can guess the outcome of that call.
