Me likey! I saw that wheel on one of the other pre-pro Camaros too, and I'll be very happy if that makes it to production. It's kind of a cross between the '97-'99 5-spoke and the late 80's IROC wheels.

Very cool, wish that the Civic guy got better shots with a better camera!
I like the IROC wheels. Remind me of the AMG wheels too.

Save them, if nothing else, people will want them when they start rebuilding/refurbing late 3rd gen's. I know I have seriously thought about buying one to rebuild/hop-up with my son.

It's surprising, how many people ask to buy mine - off my car.

I get offers for my 91 and 92 all the time... of course i have to tell them sorry, cars not for sale.

the thirdgen is going to be one of the more collectible i think.. especially the 90-92 cars.

Yea, maybe I will. I still have that little glimmer of hope in the back of my head that someday I will be able to afford to get another 3gen and restore it. But making room for a 2010 Camaro is top priority right now

I think so too. It's funny, when my car was brand new, it got alot of attention. Then for years, barely a glance.

Now- when I go to a show or a cruise night, the car is literally mobbed by people. It's a cool feeling.

Everytime I see these pics I think of someone sneaking into Area 51 taking spy pics.

I guess the smaller Irocish wheels are for the V6 and bigger concept looking wheels are for the V8 cars.

Actually that's just black tape on the wheels giving it the Iroc look.

Same here, when I go to the gas station, or car shows, people walk around it and comment on how cool it looks. Even tucked away in the parking lot at some other car event.
I have a feeling the new Camaro will do the same, the exterior looks hot!
I want those wheels, even if they're supposed to be for a V6 car...I hope they come available in 18"s too.

The best part about when i had my 92 Z28 convertible from 00-04 was how many times i had people come up to me and say they thought it was a shame they stopped making camaros after my body style. I was like, this is only a 92. Then they'd say, right, damn shame they haven't made any camaros in 10 years. Then i would lol.

I still have my spare rear wheels with 255 BFG DRs from it. I may regret selling that car one day, it was exactly what i'd ever want in a thirdgen, and did draw more random compliments and conversation then any other car i ever owned. It just needed too much nickel and dime stuff and i didn't/don't have a garage i could have stored and taken care of it in so i let it go after i bought the goat.

I know exactly what you mean. My purple car is mobbed everywhere we go..

the 91 droptop, is bout the same way and its stock.. something about a convertible thirdgen..

I read somewhere that the thirdgen will be the next "57 chevy" car of the future... i dont recall where, but boy i wish i remembered where.. seeing the reactions of folks around mine though, makes me almost sure they're right.

Once the 5th gen debut's hopefully it too will have that same feeling around it.. not just when its new, but 10-20 years down the road. i know i am really looking forward to it.

Ah, the Third Gen appreciation in this post makes me happy! I have to agree with you all, both of my Thirds are attention getters but the showcar literally gets mobbed anywhere and everywhere.

Third gens are where its at

if I like the 5th gen half as much as i like my 3rd gens, then itll be a wonderful car. thats for sure.

my ultimate plan is to have a 1st gen, 3rd gen, and 5th gen all converts, where as my 2nd and 4th will be either hard tops or t-tops. All of course form here on out have to be z28's

Now I really miss my 92 GTA, I was just thinking of that car today and what it be if I still had it. That car would get more attention than my buddy's LT1 formula and LS1 Z28 whether it was at a car show or the track.
