My coworker just bought a 2SS/RS M6.

Victory Red w/ black stripes. It's his first stickshift car, and so for the past week I've been helping him learn to drive a stick on various coworkers cars (my Camaro is still away for the winter). He picked up the car on Saturday, and today at lunch he let me drive it. Previously, I had only driven an automatic.

Let me just say that the manual transmission made all the difference in the world! The auto was fun to drive (thanks Jason! ), but the manual is in a whole different place.

Frickin' badass!

Also, I found out today that the trunk opening is not the only comically small thing in the car. To that list, add the flip-down sun visors as well as the mirrors therein.

.ive fit 2 sets of golf clubs in the trunk. kinda tight, but it works.the sun visors ,as small as they are, actually cover about 1/3 of the window when they are down. and manual is the way to go!

The trunk itself is actually bigger than I expected. Golf bags are relatively long and skinny, so that's not much of a test of the opening. I can (and once did) fit a pre-hung 36" door, in the packaging, into the hatch opening of my 4th gen.

In the non-hatchback department, I can fit two giant bags of ski gear into the trunk of my Aura and still have room for three pairs of skis and poles. The Bonneville opening is almost 2x the size of the one on the Aura.

There's no way I could get the ski bags into the trunk of a Camaro. Not saying I would take a Camaro to go skiing, but it'd be nice to be able to fit items of that size.

Yeah, I noticed that for the size of the windshield, they're actually about right. But still, they're really small and it's kinda funny. Also, they seem totally worthless when moved over to the side window -- barely covers any of the window at all.

Like I said, the trunk is pretty big, but the trunk OPENING is tiny.
