Talking My local dealer now has THREE Camaros! (Graff Chevrolet in Okemos)

A black SS/RS, a yellow SS/RS, and a silver 2LT/RS.

I'll try to get some pictures, and then I'll come back and make this thread better.

Sounds like dealers are stocking up on the high-option, high-dollar cars. Even that 2LT (V6) car probably carries a $30,000 sticker.

I hope the casual buyer doesn't get the wrong impression about the car when they go to look at them because 1LS models are never seen on the lot.

I did a search for camaros in my area at Chevy.com and one dealer Modern Chevrolet in Winston Salem NC has 2 1LS's in stock. There is also a 2LS and 2 2SS's at area dealers.

The 2LT sticker said 28,825, which is the bare-bones MSRP for a 2LT RS with no additional options.

The Graff dealerships around me, Mt. Pleasant and Bay City, are marking these cars up at least 3-5k! They claimed they would MSRP the V-6 cars but the SS is just too hot an item right now.

There's one in Chesapeake, VA with 3 LT's. All with $10,000 markups too.

Oh man! I was going to go look at them tomorrow. I live in Mason and was going to visit my inlaws in Okemos tomorrow and make a quick side trip.

First off, anyone who pays $40,000 for a V6 Camaro needs to have their heads examined. I hope that dealer chokes on those cars.

Second, leave it to a bunch of greedy dealers to screw up a good thing. They finally get a car that will bring people into a Chevy showroom, and for many people they haven't been to one in years. So there is a big opportunity to get new customers and pull customers from other brands. And what do they see? They see how they would gets screwed if they want to buy one. Nice!

Yep! That's why I never buy a new vehicle from that dealer. They even have markups on Malibu's - Unbelievable.

I finally saw the first 010 Camaro here @the local Saturn dealer about 2 wks.ago.It was a yellow RSw/no sunroof, stripes,or retro gauges and yet the price was $40,980 not inc taxes.A few days later the thing was sold(lol!)This dealer is known for gouging heavily as they did the same on 4th.gens
