My version of a production 09 Camaro.

They said that it would stay true to the concept, so I replaced the LED halo lights and led foglights with conventional stuff, lost the wplit in the signal lights, and stretched the mirrors and side marker lights to a useable shape.

I think it looks bad as hell.

Constructive criticism taken!

Make the green house 1 1/2" - 2" higher and the car 2"-3" narrower...(might have to do a proportion % transform in PS)

Still looks good to me.

Though I do hope they keep the halo effect intact.

I also like the black/red bowtie. I'll take mine in Brushed Aluminum please.

It'll always be the symbol of Chevy performance to me, and no Camaro would be right without one.

I might even like that more than the concept...

Looks good, I still like the LED headlights though. I've had it as my buddyicon on AIM/MSN for a long *** time, now. It just looks so fresh and polished

Nicely Done! I agree on the red bowtie, it looks good on the silver, but what about a blue car? Any chance any one can but a billet grille in that pic? I'd love to see that.....

Re: My version of a production 09 Camaro.

It's a pretty ****ty PS job because I had this feathering option enabled, and I forgot it was on.. by the time I was gone the edges around what i cut out wasn't crisp.. and it's all ****ty because i'm remote desktopping (laggy/jumpy) to my computer because my monitor went out, and all I have is my laptop

so screw off!

anyways, here's the car in blue. It'd be nice if Chevy did some details like color-matching the bow-tie to the paint color. That would be very awesome. If you want the billet grille, find me a picture of one. It's too hard to find a good looking one that doesn't look overdone

Orange isn't so bad either.. NSOM (near sunset orange metallic). Impossible to match, but it looks close to me

Heres a SOM-ish look.

Raised the roof just a tad as well. i tried narrowing it and it was... well... ungood.

Re: My version of a production 09 Camaro.

lol, we think alike.... hahaha

Its really hard to make a blue, or white, or red or any opaque color due to the fact that the base image is silver.

But, we'll make do.

that's engineer SOM. that's what it looks like on paper

Real-life SOM is much much different. Always looks almost red in real life unless it's really dark with that oh so perfect "parking lot" lighting. even then the orange isn't that bright :P
