Guys, don't worry about transportation, just walk everywhere you need to go!
Downtown Detroit is lovely in January, and the freezing temperatures will help slow your heart rate, thereby limiting the bloodloss from the gunshot wounds!

Has the time for the Heritage Centre been confirmed yet?
One e-mail was "afternoon/evening" the other was "evening". I believe check-in at the Embassy is 3:00. If the reception is after that I'm sure we'll have room for a couple of bodies in whatever our rental turns out to be.

If you have some room for a short Italian kid who's also an inferior Pontiac Trans Am owner, I'd appreciate it...hate to leave him at the hotel
