New Camaro Question

Re: New Camaro Question
The "official" but "un-officially released" pictures were leaked and posted on several websites for a couple days, but have since been pulled per GM request. I'm not sure if you could still search and find them hiding somewhere? Regardless, there are no pictures to be seen like there are of the Challenger concept. There is also no OFFICIAL confirmation of Camaro, nor is there any word on when it will be built ... that is, "IF" it is built.
However, we have heard from some "people in the know" and all signs point to "yes" for the Camaro's return, and speculation is it'll be released in ~2008 as a 2009 model (as stated above).

Although the basic shape and design may be close, I fully expect to see a more refined car on display in Detroit.

Re: New Camaro Question
GM will be late to the party again I believe. The "Camaro" should have been ready for production in 07. Now it may make it's appearance in 09, depending on the public's response to the concept car, not just enthusiasts, but the general public. If the "Camaro" gets a luke warm response I can't imagine GM investing millions in a car that may not sell to their expectations. But on the other hand GM knows it has to play in the same playground with Ford and Chrylser.

So I said they're "official" ... I simply mean they're "real" concept photos. BUT, they're "un-official" 'cause GM didn't want them spread around, due in part because they're obviously far from a finished product, and GM wasn't ready to show them yet.

1) 2009, 2) heritage styled, 3) do a google search: "2009 Camaro" (if it doesn't have "LS1 tech" watermark and "confidential" stamped on it, it's fake).
