I didn't even know that show was on yet. I have seen a few ads for it. Mostly what stuck out was the guy from lost. Now that I know they have Camaro's in it I will have to check it out.

 

Yea, Transformers hurt sales...how many were made in 2010? Had to be only 30k or so right? (sarcasm off)

 

transformers covers a huuuuge number of people... Kids love it, which also means their parents will be taking them to see it. Plus all the people who were into transformers way back when are old now and go to see it to bring back a part of their childhood. Its not some childrens movie. Its got plenty of action to bring the crowds like all the other super hero movies and stuff have been doing... I would venture a guess that probably at least 75 percent (probably more like 90+%) of the people i know have seen transformers, or at least pieces of it with the camaro in it. You know how many I know that have talked about, much less seen hawaii five-o? Not a single one that I know of... Hell... I havent even seen a commercial for it, much less seen one with the camaro thrown in my face like it has been with transformers.

 

I would think a lot of us would take the RS if we could drive it like they do. The V8 "voice-over" they use helps a lot too....

I still don't know why they didn't use an SS for the show. I'm sure there was one left over from My Own Worst Enemy... and it was silver too!

 

I sure as hell hope ZL1 is NOT a special edition! I think it belongs in the line up with SS, and Z28,

 

ZL1 is not planned to be a "limited" edition.
