With your hands in the proper position on the steering wheel, your arm blocks the gages. If you buy a stick then your hand blocks the gages when your shifting. In any case it's very difficult to do a good scan while driving with the gages buried under the radio.
I don't see a cup holder? I see a cup, but it doesn't appear to be in a holder. In any case if you shift for yourself you can't have a cup behind the stick, of any size. On my 97 I have to use the Passengers cup holder.
I had a '68 Camaro with the gauges there... In my '02 thats where my XM radio was. Neither were a big deal to glance over and check. By some of the comments (not yours, your were a decent argument) you would think they were putting the gauges in the trunk.

The interior is going to look dated very quickly.

It almost looks like a classic ciggy lighter on the left ... but that doesn't makes sense with the outlet on the right side. Power door locks? Maybe some kind of ipod control?

Did anyone else notice the notches in the grill on the last picture? I can't tell what will fit, but it's there.

I was thinking more of the Camaro emblem, but the bowtie will do.

I hope its's not gonna be a bowtie on every model. That's for sure.

I dont think the gauges will be that big of a deal. The two most important day to day aux gauges, temp and gas, are right up with the speedo and tach. I see them as something different to give Camaro and plus throw a nod towards the 1st gens.

I'm going to guess no. This interiro looks a little rougher to me. One question we didnt ask were how many IVER cars are around. We saw a total of three at Milford. One was parked by another buiding.

Why? It looks like the same design we complained about in all the other sets of pictures.

I like the new interpretation of the IROC wheels, as '85-'88...more angular like the New Camaro but recognizable, and to me, more interesting than the flat bars.
I also liked the Ralley's on the Vert.

Interior still looks same, with the 2-**** radio (/sega)"look", and '69 console gages, and '69 IP with center section compressed.
It kinda does "feel" older than it is...
I guess I'll have to see it in person to fully appreciate it.
