Of all the places for Chevy reveal the 2010 Camaro SS, it's chosen a GM-sponsored photo spread for Conde Nast. The free supplement's zeitgeist is "Fashion Rocks" and in keeping with the theme, they've chosen the decidedly un-rocking Fergie as the musical icon to accompany the Camaro SS on glossy stock.

Comparing the image above with the pictures Chevrolet released last month, you can clearly see the SS badging, deeper fascia and upgraded brakes, reported to be sized 14-inches up front and clamped by calipers by Brembo.

The Camaro SS will be packing a 422 hp (estimated), 6.2-liter V8 and will go on sale in March of next year, along with the V6 RS models.

The only way a Camaro and that slampig should be in the same picture is if the car was dragging her down Hollywood Blvd.

I don't see a problem with it. It's getting the word out to a broader audience. Aren't they trying to sell like 80K the first year? If so some of those are going to have to be Fergie fans.

It was just now that I noticed the side skirts on the SS.. I like. However, I'm still on the fence about the front fascia.. I haven't seen it from many angles, but the chin makes it look a little too sqaure in the front.

 

Just imagine its about to run her over.

on camaro terms: the SS looks great, i dont know if its the angle or the front bumber, but it looks "stronger" or more "macho compared to the LT/RS. You guys think the SS is lower? Or is it just me. One more thing, this pic makes me want to get the "mail slot" put on my LT/RS if i cant afford the SS.

 

While I would've chosen several other famed hotties instead of Fergie she certainly isn't the hardest on the eyes. I wouldn't mind taking a spin in both of them.

 

As far as advertising goes, you could do worse than using a hot chick to promote your car.
