The enthusiasm and passion that Ed shows everytime Ive heard him speak brings a smile to my face. I cant help but think that, if I were in his position, that is the exact way I would feel. Makes me happy that people like him are still around in the industry.

Nice video. Ed is a great design chief for GM. These are different times then when Harley Earl presided over design staff. It's not so easy anymore and the competition is far fiercer. From a styling perspective the Camaro seems to be a hit. Some small issues but a hit.

I like when they show just a part of the kind of work that goes into designing and building a car. It's an amazing process.

Is it just me or was there one Camaro in there with a single side of the hood raised up like a 3rd gen T/A?

Yes, that was in there, HOWEVER.. it was because they were showing two different designs... One side of the car being different than the other.

For the hood it looked like they were trying to decide how big to go with the cowl scoop thing.

Yes it does. But what they are doing there is dividing up the clay model down the center and making some changes in surface so that both can be judged next to each other. It's an easier way to see changes and since many clay models are only halves anyway it saves time and cost.
