Ellwynx, that's a really weird question.

Have you never noticed you can easily see all Camaro exhaust?

Anyway, this isn't related to the convertible, but since I'm already on this topic, I found an interesting/cool photochop of the coupe I hadn't seen before.

Use this link if neither of the above work.

agreed - I tried modding my top, but I just can't get it yet.. I REALLY messed up the first time though....totally unaware of the angle at one part, and where the rear quarterpanel glass starts and ends..

I've studied the lines of the coupe, and cannot make it work....I think part of it is the angle I chose..... I will try again later -- has anyone else seen any chops with a top?

first two are the new top

very rough, same color windshield area below

EDIT: ...I don't know, I give up...I think if the two tops mixed into each other it would look better. Time to wait for GM I guess -- I wonder when they will release pics with a top or if they even have one made yet.

Your first two chops in the previous post look pretty good. Who cares if it doesn't have the metal bars that will undoubtably skeleton the fabric? It looks good enough!

I have a question though. Who likes the silver windshield/a-pillars? I would prefer body color. Silver A-pillars remind me of 1950s cars and the current T-bird I think.

Actually, no. But now that I think of it, I did have the GFX package on my '02. That slight extension, I suppose, is what hid the exhaust pipes.

So I suppose on one without the GFX you could see them. I wasn't thinking of it that way.

Love the Black image you posted with this though. I really wanna see the 5th Gen with a set of GFX and spoiler extension though...

Ground effects might be fun to photoshop. I'll give that a shot tonight.

I can't wait to see what Callaway has planned for the Camaro. I'm not sure how you can add an aerobody to something shaped like a brick.

Just think 3rd Gen. The 5th isn't anymore 'bricklike' than the 3rd.

I don't care what anyone else says the 5th Gen is VERY 3rd-Gen-like. It looks even moreso from the sideview of the convertible.

If you compare the Hot Wheels Camaro Concept to a 3rd gen Camaro Hot Wheels car, they are similar in proportion.

I forgot about doing the GFX. But now that I look at the concept again, I don't know how its looks could possibly be improved by GFX. It would look like a Dodge Charger if I made any... and I don't want to lol

It's ok, I wasn't actually suggesting you do some GFX. Just saying I'm anxious to see the GFX package Chevy and the aftermarket come out with.

'Cause you know it's gonna happen. I just hope they don't wait as long as they did with the 4th Gens. They waited 'til, what?, 1996 to come out with the RS GFX package? The 4th Gens NEEDED GFX to look agressive. The 5th doesn't need them, but (to me) GFX enhance almost any cars 'presence' and agressiveness.
