That's because they're righthand drive in Australia. A GM product designed in NA for NA production will have it on the driver's side.

That would be inconveinent. That pic looks good though.

It does appear to be on the driver side on top of the fender as was shown with the concept (as has already been pointed out). Every GM vehicle I've ever driven or owned has either been on the driver's side or behind the license plate.

I had to go back and look at the original image. I definitely think the gas cap is in the same place it was on the concept. I accidentally blacked it out on my edited picture.

actually, I LOVE the gas cap on the passenger side. That side is always empty at gas staions.

I wonder if it will retain the gills in front of the rear tires. I loved those.

Could just be the angle, but in addition to the taller roofline (which we knew was coming from the time the concept was shown) is the windshield more "laid back"?

The gills have to be a "go." They look perfect on the car!

I keep picking out things, but it also looks like the crisp line down the center of the body was finessed to be more of a gentle curve than a prominent body line? I really liked that bodyline.

Just throwin some stuff out there... could be the camo...

I hope they didn't soften the side crease -- it really differentiated the car from the Vette, and I loved it that way. It sort of looks like they did, but with the camo and lighting, it is is virtually impossible to tell. I am really glad to hear the "will be difficult to distinguish from the concept" though -- well, at least on the exterior.

Now, we need interior camo shots! hehe

It is great the see the passion in the people behind the car -- that should translate to the finished product.

Even with the camo, it should still be visible? If I'm seeing correctly and it's gone, it's kinda of a shame, honestly, at a quick glance, it does look a little corvette like...

It also looks like the lower creases were softened and radiused as well, although not as significantly as the center bodyline. Where it meets the back quarter, it appears to not flare out as much anymore.

It appears the lower window line and the body line just below that were retained

The "C" pillar looks "thicker" too.

This is kinda fun

I still want one... so I'm not a hater, just looking for things that differentiate from the concept

I may be mistaken, but I swear I remember reading a while back that the gas filler location was going to change to the side of the rear fender....when I have more time, I'll have to do a search.

And as far as GM ALWAYS putting the gas filler on the drivers side.......not true. There's quite a few examples of it being on the passenger side on Pontiacs past and present.

One thing nobody has mentioned yet though:

I wonder what's different about the tail??

The bra on the back must be hiding something.....right?
