NEWS: Hugging a Camaro (PIC OF MULE AND WELBURN!)

(OK -- for something we'll talk about next year at this time -- there are TWO things I'm not wild about -- each is a small detail.......but I can live with 'em and they probably won't be on most peoples' radar screens....other than that, I can't get the grin off my face.....)
The Future just keeps getting brighter and brighter!
We have to wait a year to find out what that is, geez you shouldn't have mentioned it?! I hope from those pictures that some of the creases havent been softened and I still hope the grill is different or there are options for it.

To me the sheetmetal that we can see looks very concept like. You can see the lower valance crease into the door and the hard cut like under the side mirror. Love the side mirror better. Also looks like the gas cap is on the fender and the interior retains the twin pod '69 looking dash. Wheelbase looks the same to me.

Not necessarily. It's an awful pic, in the shadows, etc. Besides, there are some pics of the concept where the side crease is not noticeable.
So, I am still holding out hope they are correct with the "difficult to distinguish from the concept" line -- omitting the side crease would certainly be an obvious change.
At least it doesn't look to be another another Infiniti Coupe Concept -> G37 debacle.

Today, I drove my 4th-gen to work and one of my partners' wife said, "What's that your mid-life crisis?" I said, nope -- if I was having that, I'd get a Corvette. Then I said something that surprised me... "I don't really want a Corvette, I'm waiting for the new Camaro." That's huge for me, because I've wanted a Corvette since I was ten-years-old. I am so excited to see this project moving along.
Scott, my son (you signed his poster at Carlisle this summer) was already a believer. He told me then, "Forget the Covette, dad -- we need to get the 5th-gen." Smart young man, he
I'm in -- so in.

ok.. i don't know how any one can say anything about the gas cap being up on top of the rear fender.. i don't see anything there that could possibly indicate that
as for the body lines, etc.. i wouldn't take much of anything from this pic with the lighting and the camo on the car.. you'd be surprised what it can hide
back to the gas cap... i agree that most likely since the Camaro will be built in NA.. that it'll have it on the drivers side.. but i just wanted to throw the possibility out there that since it shares platforms with the G8 it may have it on the passenger side, like that car

There's a "shark fin" next to the mirror now(to aid the glass). The corner of the hood meets up with the bottom of the A-pillar. Normal looking wipers. The spokes on the wheel are straighter and are not as agressively angled(makes it look softer now). There is no spoiler. Other than that I don't see how anyone can say it has a longer wheel base, is noticeable tall, etc when the lens has a slight fish eye effect to the pic.
