Unfortunately there are no Camaros available at the time.

We will have the ZR1 -- the 'flying Corvette" -- the Traverse -- and other such stuff at New York.

Keep in mind that there are several shows going on worldwide at the time of New York.

Thanks for responding Scott. It's a huge letdown for me and I will not be going now but at least I know. I was only going because I've never seen the camaro in person yet.

wow...you need to find a show that has it. Like it's been said about 10,000 times before...the pictures are nice, but it's SOOOOOO much better in person.

Werd. I was disappointed it wasn't at the Louisville Auto Show, but i didn't really expect it to be. I doubt it will come within 100 miles (driving) of me for years .

I'm probally in the minority here, but honsetly, I feel only the people who haven't seen the concept in person should have an issue about it not being at one show or another. All the big shows have had the Camaro concepts already, and those people had a chance to see it. I've seen a Camaro concept twice. The only other Camaro I'd want to see is the production one.

If anyone is spending the money to go to a major auto show just to see one car, perhaps might consider not going. Don't get me wrong, the Camaro is awesome in person. But if I go to a Auto Show, I'm not going there to just look at one car. I'm going to see what everyone has to offer.

Chris,

Will it be only for Saturday or the for the remainder of the show? I plan on going on the 27th (Thursday) with my Uncle. We are both big corvette fans and want to see the ZR1 as well but I am dying to see the Camaro.

Thanks!!
Steve

I didnt specifically ask.. but the car was scheduled to go overseas, and that appearance was cancelled, freeing it up for NY.

I would venture to say, yes, it should be there for the duration, and right next to the ZR1. (SICK CAR!!!! I got to sit in it too)

Scott, sorry I didnt make it Thursday. I had family related things, had to stay home. I did see the ZR1, but it seems that Chevy's display was centerd around the Green Machines of the Volt, and Hybrid Tahoe as there was a big press conference reguarding the Volt with all the major engineers having questions thrown at them from electrical vehicle enthuiasts.
