ok. so fall is coming and the car will be in storage probably end of october. im already planning for the next round of mods for the car. it basically brakes down into packages: suspension, appearance, braking, drivetrain, and performance.
Package 1: Pedders front radius rod bushings
Pedders rear upper control arm bushings
COST: around $600 + install
Package 2: Fessler built series 1 side rockers
COST: $725 + shipping,paint,install
Package 3: CTS-V (Z28)front brake upgrade (6 piston calipers,2 piece rotors)
COST: $1,400
Package 4: FAST 102mm intake manifold
" 102mm throttle body
COST: $1,200 + tune
Package 5: ACPT carbon fiber drive shaft
Richmond Gears 4.10 gears
COST: $1,400 + install
The Pedders bushings will finish off all of my suspension
The fessler rockers will finish off the look from the ACS front splitter
The brakes will either be before or after the "Z28" comes out. if its after, ill buy the Z28 brakes
The FAST products will get me closer to 500 RWHP N/A
The driveshaft will lighten up the moving mass a bit and give quicker acceleration with the gearing.

What are your plans with the car?
1) Big improvement here. Momentum Race Group has it's own proprietary bushings (they will be public in the coming months) but I can assure you you will be happy with the Pedders bushings.
2) Looks. Up to you
3) Looks. IMO, if you want to track the car step up to a better brake setup. We recommend StopTech, and we can get you setup with the right kit for your application. We currently run Alconin GRAND-AM, but are converting over.
4) What is your current motor configuration?
5) Don't bother with the driveshaft, you won't see a big difference. Gears will wake the car up off the line, but you will need to reprogram the speedo (probably no big deal if you already have tuned the car for other mods) and you will see higher RPM on the highway which can get annoying.

the reason i want to go with the cts v brakes is because its a relatively inexpensive upgrade that will be good for the car on and off track. lightweight 2 piece rotors arent bad either. compared to the stoptech brakes, the price is a huge factor. but the stop tech may be better for track use.
motor right now is running a airaid intake, comp cam with new valve springs, pushrods, all runningto borla long tube headers and borla catback. currently pushing about 460 RWHP on a dyno jet.
currently on the highway the car is surprisingly mild, as far as sound, in 5th gear around 70, at about 2-2500rpm. in 6th gear at 2k rom, its very noisey unless i get going around 80 and the rpm's come up to 2500. as far as reprogramming the speedo, thats not a big deal. its already been done due to the larger wheels.
as far as my goals with this car? its not a dailey driver. not a complete track car. not a show car. i do alot of driving, but seems to be short distances. i am taking the car to mid ohio on the 13th nextr month, so events like this may be the only competition the car sees. i dont drag race really. i guess , like all my past cars, i want a tight ride with good acceleration and great braking. also needs to be a stealth and mean looking and have a great sound. mostly, the car is much better than stock nowIMO, but these things listed will get me to where i think the car should be in each catagory. except the power catagory. you can always improve there. i do plan on putting a vortech or pro charger on in the future. i just want to get the other areas of the car, where they need to be, before i put 700HP down. its just not complete if you just throw a blower on and call it a day. theres more to a car than just going fast, to me at least.

I agree 100%, all the cars I have built either for myself or for customers with the budget need to do everything well.
My LSX powered RX7 had AC, power steering, great stereo, etc.
My 1000hp Turbo LT1 Camaro had AC, Power Stearing, Full suspension (coil over etc), Baer brakes, etc.
Fun cars are ones that do everything well, and still have all the creature comforts.
Sounds like the bushings and possibly the gears sound like a good incremental improvement... get the brakes you really want (Z28 it sounds like) when they come out...

the reason i lean toward the cts v brakes is because it is one of the best deals on a 6 piston setup and (from what i hear) its a great upgrade for the car. i already have stainless steel brake lines, and ive noticed a much firmer brake pedal, and quicker braking. i have seen the stoptech brake kits and they are a great deal for them. theres just so many things that i need/want to do to the car, and for the price of new stoptech brakes or baer or even brembo, i can do 2 of the things on my list, if not more.

Well, I know for a fact you will be interested in several products that we are bringing to production over the next weeks/months
Also, brakes are also cosmetic. Something like a StopTech setup looks great, and stops amazing. The CTSV brakes will quench your thirst for stopping power, on the STREET but not if you do track days.
