it was sunny but cold here in canton today. so, i decided to take some pictures of the car with the new hood on it, to see how it looked out in the light. looks way better than i imagined! im debating to even paint this hood now. i think it looks great like it is. makes the car look even more aggressive!

not painted. just carbon fiber still. i want to drive it like this (in the spring) and see how well i like it before changing it. so far im really liking this look.

 

If you keep it that way, you should do the trunk lid the same way.

 

That is probably the first carbon fiber hood that actually looks good not painted.

thats what i was thinking too. i was also thinking of doing a paint combo like the stripes from the dealer, where its a solid stripe down the middle and on the trunk. i was going to paint it all and keep the middle part carbon fiber. so this would work on the trunk, but i may just keep it all carbon fiber. i almost bought a trunk on ebay for 70 bucks, but the corners were chipped in shipping. i was gonna get it and just paint it all but the middle, but i really like this look on the car. so not painting may be the way.

The car is looking awesome man . I really like the front splitter look without the side and rear ground effects . I hate the side and rear ground fx for these cars .

i was actually plannig on putting on the fessler series 2 side rocker ground effects. they look very similar to the style found on the ZR1. pretty simple. nothing too crazy.

 

You have to let me know when you have it as close to done as you want it.

 

its getting there. i dont know if it will ever be done...but im getting certain things finished and they shouldnt need changed again. only things i plan to do would be cts-v brake upgrade,finish pedders suspension parts, fessler side rockers,carbon fiber trunk. thats about it as far as outsde and suspension. not sure what i want to do to the inside, but i found a harness bar i want and maybe some racing seats some time in the distant future. as far as power adder....still debating. i might get the heads ported and polished this winter too. i need to get over 500RWHP.
