Now hear this........

Many quotes -- and more misquotes in the past week.

Do not take everything you hear as gospel......some quotes were taken out of context -- others had numbers and such wrong.

Premium.....the V8 Camaro will not be $37,000 -- if it were, it would bomb.
It will be affordable and it will be in Mustang territory. "Premium" could mean a few hundred dollars......

We think you're going to be pleasantly surprised at horsepower and torque numbers -- fuel economy - and standard equipment -- (Or -- Good ole fashioned 'bang for the buck' ...) This car is going to have some details that 'surprise and delight' -- ......

You've heard me say this before and I'll say it again......there is a lot riding on this new Camaro -- and some of the best in the industry are working on it.......

Have I lied to you yet??????

Now-- go forth with your enthusiasm -- (but when you hear some high pricetag put on the car -- don't believe it -- the LAST thing we'll do is price it.........)

(by the way -- the "12 disciples of which there are 15" will be coming to Detroit in May -- and they may have some impressions for you once they return home.) (.......that is, if we can get them to stop grinning wildly....)

Hey, just my 2 cents, but can the rear A/C package on the Pontiac G8 be part of the options on the new Camaro Scott?

I love that feature!

Thumbs up

Thanks for the post.
I'm patiently waiting to put my order in.
See what you can do about making the Canadian pricing as close as possible to the US pricing.

Thank you for the wise words, will be awaiting May even more now. Havnt been worried about the price, I was already planning to spend around that much, although less for more is better. Good to know it is still going to follow Camaro tradition in that area. How limited will the info be from the great 12 when they return? Dont want to have to help hide them from black suburbans lmao.

Hey Scott, If you get a few minutes, pm me, Id like to discuss some ideas with you. Not Camaro specific, just something I've thought about for a while that I think would be an interesting option across the GM brand. Kind of a one-up on everybody else. (Not that we dont already have plenty! but could attract a bigger crowd over-all)

Always good to hear from you Scott! I'm really excited for this car and I have faith that GM will be right on the money with it.

How come Scotts posts are always long and you almost always know less after you read it than you thought you did before??? Oh well. Thanks for clearing that up. I think we're all tired of doubters tossing around 40,000+ numbers
