Seems like a lot of money for something that is basically 2 electric cutouts welded onto the factory exhaust system with some extension pipes. I have the same thing on my previous Camaro and my current Vette

Dope

I would have to agree, it does seem a bit pricey for something that is not that hard to fab up yourself!!

It seems this one has a twin butterfly design shutting down the muffler side. it would take 4 cutouts, 4 ys, and a cluster of wires to try to do that. Add all that up and it gets pretty close. Then the hours of fitting and welding.

There's also something else that makes this setup different. There are 3 buttons and a **** to control just how loud your exhaust gets. With the buttons you have 100% open, 100% closed, and an assignable button to tune to your desired sound level. The **** allows you to override these buttons and tune to whichever position you prefer. And like jpcamaro1 stated with 4 butterfly's as the cut-out opens flow through your existing exhaust is closed at the same rate. This tuning feature is quite unique in the market, as far as I have seen.

I think im gonna do the valves, they get similar power gains as a header or catback system that also run over 900-1000+ I cant tone down a loud cat back system on a long road trip. Also brownie points with the wife, because she can shut them down when doing a grocery run.

there's no welding required for this set-up.

cut and bolt up, you're done.

Neat! Where can a control button be mounted? A steering wheel application would be very trick

Hmmmm....so it went from 328 RWHP to 347 RWHP? Hmmm. Ok.

It does look like a quality piece, though I'm not at all sure why I'd want to be able to adjust the amount of exhaust leak I had while driving down the road. Personally, I would get a more traditional cutout setup that would require me to get out and remove a cover (I know, perish the thought of having to do something MANUALLY!) when I was ready to race.

To each their own, of course.

Looks pretty cool! I'm stoked that they're based out of South Dakota (home state).

Well Maserati Gran Turismo's as well as current Corvette's have electronically actuated cut-outs that either open during heavy throttle or with the push of a button. Not generally a standard option but cool none the less to have a company do the same for our beloved Camaro IMHO.

Are the cutouts on those cars in front of any muffling at all, and thus routing the exhaust from the manifold straight to an open pipe?

Again, to each their own.
