Seriously though, why can't GM do a non metallic blue, like the Grabber Blue on the Mustang? The B5 Blue on the Challenger even looks pretty nice.

Because the colors obviously sell 
. If I am going to get a Camaro and spend some decent coin on a car that comes factory with very aggressive and some over-the-top styling cues, I want a color to back it up. The Camaro has has the same color palette for 20 years. We need to put some real color back into these cars! Synergy green is a good start, but again, it is too metallic for me and is way too dependent on lighting. Every time I see a Grabber Blue GT, it turns my head.

This was a sweet color in certain lighting. I am a huge fan of the Jetstream, Nassau, Daytona type blue hues. Their gorgeous colors. But, what killed ABM for me, was the element of green it had to it. It has been said, to sit JSB and ABM next to each other in the sun and the difference is slight, but take a cloudy day or at night under like parking lot lights and ABM looks more green than blue and TOTALLY different than JSB.
Make a true medium blue paint without elements of green or purple ect that has been done in the past, and I think it would be a more popular color.
I know that horse has been more than beaten to death blues so I will shut up now
