I would like
Ribbon in the grill of the standard V6.
An RS in the center of the grill if there is ever a RS package.
SS in the center of the grill for the SS.
And a Z28 beside the headlight in the grill!

and when i say i want the ribbon, i dont mean the old 4th gen, i want it, but just updated like they have done on corvette over the years

 

I dont actually mind the bowtie . What I HATE is the gold .

 

i find it doesnt suit the car. for its time/era.

Needs the Gold Bowtie on the front, and a retro/modern Z/28 badge in the corner grill (for the model of course), as well as the rear.

 

I know what you ment but if you want to fix it do it in your own quote not mine.

I am not mad but I do find it improper to change what someone else said in their own quote as I do not agree with your fix.

I'd suggest using the gold bowtie on base cars with no bowtie and an offset Z28 badge (a updated take) on the Z28 model. "SS" model should be centered replacing bowtie.

As for the OP, I was thinking about the tri-color ribbon, but the photochop convinces me it doesn't match the car. I'm expecting gold bowties on the production car.

 

The tri-color ribbon should be somewhere even if it's on the back like the 2nd Gens. The bowtie should also be the red outline!

 

I've changed my mind again. Now I want a picture of a carrot on the front of the car.

 

How about the Bow Tie in the grill and the ribbon in the center of the gauges where the 1969 has the AC emblem.

I don't support this. I prefer the large Bowtie. Gold in color?? -- well - thats another thing altogether. I might paint mine blue, with red trim.

 

Amen Perple, they should be able to find somewhere to put it, if not front and center. Tradition is why we're all here, is it not?

 

Put the tri-color emblem on the hood or slightly below the opening and leave the bowtie on the grill.
