Funny this came up, I was reading The Unfair Advantage for the 40th time (great read for anyone interested in racing) Really good stuff. I would love to see it in full color. Someone brought this up earlier, the only thing I would change are the GS stripes on the front

Last time I had a tablet was......23 years ago (damn!)....it was an old "Koala pad". It was pretty cool, but graphics software couldn't keep up......my how things have changed!

I'm curious how well this pad works for drawing - my pda seems to pick up every last twitch and is almost too sensitive. I can dial in the software a bit with adjustment, but it's still a lot of trial and error to get a curve that looks like I want. Does this pad have similar issues? I'm also REALLY curious about this wireframe - did you trace an existing drawing? How did you create it? $55 for a tablet is worth considering if it doesn't take weeks to get a tracing of a car looking right.

The CAD software helps, because it has tools that smooth out curves and elipses....I use it in my Architecture business, so I'm well versed in it's use.
You do have to adjust the sensitivity of the software that come with the tablet and a little practice helps.

I took a photo I took at the unveiling and using Photoshop, I changed the values to increase contrast and grey-scaled it to highlight the edges.......and using my CAD software (MIcrostation) I traced it. I then made the modifications. I would assume that someone good with Photoshop could do the same thing....

Hey Doug, would it be cool if I took what you've done and filled in all the coloring and did shading via Illustrator? I'm curious to see what it would look like. I love the look man! It would be friggin' sweet if GM or someone else did a special edition like that. Let me know if that's cool with you!
