If you're referring to the group of 15 going to the Camaro Enthusiast Summit in Detroit you're 2 weeks early. Beyond that, I have every intention of honoring the non-disclosure agreement I signed .... The Fbodfather showed my the pinking shears tongues get cut off with if we talk.

It won't be for two more weeks as mentioned.

However, that is a good thing...you still have time to provide your input here:
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=519665

Also, there won't be any "bean spilling" here. What we can talk about about, we will. What we can't, we won't.

Keep in mind...we may not even receive any information, we may only give it. For example, we may only be asked questions that we have to provide direct answers for.

??? Why then WOULD they want them up there, to give them a bunch of SS (super secret) Camaro data, and shove them out the door w/out saying a word? Though that would be kind of cool.

That's what a focus group is all about, actually.

Well, I guess I didnt say what I meant to say.

Yes, they are getting answers to questions, but I would be awefully suprised if they arent getting feedback from things that require you to be there.

Otherwise they could just as easily do a conference call and save the $$ to fly everyone into town.

Anyway you look at it, we wont know what you guys are gonna see for 2 years

Then again, Im sure GM has wasted more money on more pointless things.

Hopefully it turns out to be very worthwhile. Heres to hoping!

That's right, a focus group isn't just a casual and random "Hey, let's ask some people some questions" type of thing. There is a lot of careful thought put into them. Everything is video and audio taped and everything said is carefully weighed and scrutinized. It cannot be done as effectively over the telephone...nor can someone drive a car over the telephone.

And to set your mind at ease, they are not flying me in. I am close enough to drive there.
