You were there? I stopped by probably around 8:00 or so after my buddy from work told me the car was there, but I didn't recognize anyone. Not like I know what anyone looks like though besides JasonD or Frezza.

I said "Hi" to Scott Settlemire and said with the 3860 lb curb weight for the manual SS maybe Z284ever won't be complaining quite as much.

I only got one crummy cell phone pic. Obviously you did better heheh.

EDIT: I see from the pics that Jason and Chris were there. Hmm...they must have left before I got there...

Chris and I were right there. Even had dinner in Andiamo's. Wish you would have seen us, you could have joined us.

Here's a ton of pics I took:

I believe this is the first known video of a 2010 Camaro being out in public. First one I have seen, anyway.

What time did you leave? Were you sitting down? I was actually looking for you two figuring "I'm sure one of them are here haha..." I got there after 8pm or so...

Wow! Just wow! I must admit, I was not very interested in the car like a lot of people here. I guess I was just waiting to hold judgement until today and I want one right now. I love the interior. I'm not sure how I feel about the sunroof, but everything else is awesome. Very impressed. Nice photos all of you took, thanks for the shots.

I think the thing that surprised me the most about the car was the interior after seeing it in person. The interior is very "clean" looking. When I looked at the pictures on the internet, the interior looked a bit "busy", but when you see it in person, it has very clean and flowing lines.

Another important thing that I noted is that the car does not look tall in person at all. It looks low-slung and mean. This is a welcome surprise as the pictures on the internet made it look a bit tall to me.

Overall, I'm very happy with the car after seeing it in person. It really does have a tough street stance combined with a very clean interior that fits the vehicle design very well.

Overall, GM did a damn good job.

Can you guys answer me a couple a questions. First how does the shoulder room compare to a 4th gen. It looks like there isn't much room between the seat and the door and I hope that's because it's a wide seat. Also when the sunroof is open does it go into the roof or above it. Thanks.

very good question...i was thinking i would definately get a sunroof because i want some open roof option, but i LOVE the look of the reverse mohawk and if the sunroof slides back on top of the roof i will almost certainly opt for no sunroof.

I just noticed the door locks are the classic stubs at the top of the door.
