PICS! GM Accessories for Camaro revealed.

My two cents: I like the ground effects. They definitely give it a racing aggressive look. Much like the Z06 compared to the regular C6. The stretched to the ground look is so much meaner. Might not fit the whole retro muscle look (yes, I know GM doesn't want to label it that way) but it does look awesome.
I don't like the wing either, personally I'll take the "duck" wing from the concept or even a more stylized one like on the ZR1. Maybe if they did a wing similar to the 4th gen SS. That might be interesting looking, if you want a big wing that is...

Ok...well, that spoiler is too bulky and should'nt be so far from the rear fenders at the tips, maybe more like the '91-'92's...thinner, more chiseled, shorter.
A more well defined Lip spoiler would look better, the wing says Pontiac or Mustang to me....
I don't really care for any of those wheels personally.
I like the slotted/driller rotors.
I like the GFX, it's interesting, different and looks pretty bad a$$ !..
I like the stripe that stops with the hood.
I like the longer Hockey-stick stripe.
The grille is kinda retro, but not unattractive.
Gas cap might look better in smoked billet to match wheels.
And I liked the missing nose faux vent.

I'm not much for adding ground fx , so that doesnt concern me . The few things I did like though are the little duckbill spoiler section ....that looks promising . And , they nailed the shape hockey stripe . For the 4th gens theres so many hockey stripes that hardly match the contours of the car .
That Duckbill , the Hockey stripe and some Fikse Aero's and think we will call it day on appearence mods

love the gfx...
however that spoiler is too...ricey...needs to be like a 3" lip spoiler with squared off ends versus that hideous thing...
the gas cover? forget it...
and those rims? what happened to the muscle car look?

They look similar and I loved the 2nd gen Z24's as well since I own one. The wing looks a little over the top for this 20 something but I like everything else on it. Its nice to see GM offer stuff like this for the consumer.

I've always been a fan of Holden's aggressive body work and this seems to be in that flavor. I'm not a fan of the wing though, but the rest of the effects and diffusers are nice.
According to the video the effects are clay mock ups, not urethane or 'glass like a final product. It was never intended to be painted, just to give you/them an idea of what it will look like.

I don't like any of these accessories except the wheels in the last picture. These look like tacky Mopar accessories for the Charger. Paint it some obnoxious color and sell it as the Daytona Camaro. I'd be embarrassed to own a Camaro that looked like that.

Quad headlights?!?! Really, do they look like these?? :notheadlights:

Like a Nut
The single hood strip looks a bit too much along with the hockey and all that stuff. As always, someone will like it and tack them onto the vehicle. I used to like it but not anymore. A different and a different appeal is for all of us. Different taste? Not everyone drinks Coca Cola.
I dislike black rims as a whole... but some don't.
If the Camaro comes with stock such as these 19" filling up the wheel well:
It wouldn't be so bad. These are one of the best stock 5 spoke rims I have seen comparable to those Mercedes sporty stock rims of past days.
I hope the Camaro will have close to the following true dual pipe setup:
Since I just purchased this vehicle this past weekend, I won't be going for aftermarket exhaust system any time soon for it will kill the manu. 100,000 powertrain warranty. If this is the case of what I can't do, I hope Chevy manu. the Camaro properly so that we are happy upon ownership without the necessity of voiding the warranty.
