Remove all the hideous striping, the ugly gas cap cover and change the wheels to something in a brushed aluminum and I love it.

I'm not against either spoiler (wing or ducktail), but would need to see a larger ducktail to choose it over the wingstyle.

Gimme this (with different wheels)-

The wing looks as though it may be the D80 spoiler option im praying for. Remember the f40 style spoilers on the third gens?

ummm.....the topic pertains to a body kit/ground effects - not the actual unadorned car.....how did we end up all the way back at clay models etc???

@ you.

The ground effects and such are made of clay at this point. They look awful. The car itself, without the trashy add-ons, is good.

i guess we're talking about two different 'clay' things. we do agree on the main point - the car itself looks fine.

i see no need for ricer ground effects....camaro owners could use a bit more 'upscale' profile...anything that will hearken back to mullets, rednecks, white rice etc is a no-no.

the cobalt, sti, and evo have the ricer ground effects crowd well covered .

Nothing rice about that. Reminds me very much of the late third gen Camaro's. You don't like it, fine, don't buy it.

Ground effects, rims and spoiler gotta go, if I wanted my car to look like that I'd go shopping for a ricer.

Well, at least make the spoiler not clash so much with the contours of the car. As for the rims... they need to be 5 spoked for me, otherwise they look all wrong. The bodystyle (however close it may be to production, I dunno) looks pretty frickin mean, they did pull that off quite nicely. Ground effects might be tolerable if they were painted black, but unless I see it in a picture I vote against it.

Interesting to see these mock ups now that we've seen the black convert pics from GM and the latest spy pics of the silver SS coupe (6/21) and both of those Camaro's have a slightly different nose than what was seen here. Makes ya wonder what some of these lower front nose effects were developed for?
