I'll second what Camarojoe says. In my experience, Revell has been better with the majority of the kits, as well as the way they offer replacement pieces if they're damaged, etc. AMT however does get a few golden products. They're also less expensive and have a larger offering at times. I don't recall Revell ever producing a 3rd Gen Camaro (Probably did but not in recent memory) but AMT offered one up until a few years ago.

But we shall see how the AMT Camaro concept compares.

Me- cool save me a couple

Him- You mean the AMT kit? because Revell is putting one out too. But its snap-tite.

Me- AMT.

Picked one up today!

Initial review:
Molded in gray typical of AMT the past few years.
Normal amounts of casting flash.
Average amount of parts, oddly no # of parts on box, but appears to be a little less than 100.
brake rotors and calipers that can be seen thru wheels, but are molded in grey not chrome.
Camaro emblems are decals not molded in body.

Any ?'s feel free to ask.
Joe

can we get a pic of all the parts and are the front and rear bumpers molded on to the body or are they separate and need to be glued on

The front end is molded to the body but the grill and lower airdam are seperate. The rear tail is also except for the unpainted(?) exhaust area which is seperate. The exhaust system is also seperate peices not molded into the floor pan ( thanks AMT) . The suspension and rest of drive train are all seperate peices also.

Sorry dont have a digital camera yet.

Are you saying the wheels are molded in grey, or the brakes and rotors. If the wheels aren't chrome, that really sucks.

I havent decided on color yet either. Right now Im thinking Hugger orange with a white interior. But that will probobly change several times before I even start, as usual.

I remember (200 years ago) when the Monogram model of the Lockheed YF-12A was released. It completely blew all secrecy about the SR-71.
