is it possible

Dealers will not have lot cars in the beginning (at least they're not supposed to)- hence the "sold orders only" pre-sale. With very few available in the beginning in either case, you will probably have little luck getting one below MSRP. JMO. You want a "lot" car, June or July would be my guess and keep in mind, choices- colors,etc- will be limited as production ramps up.

While I agree, keep in mind what you're looking at is STOCK. Chevy will simply not make the Camaro, en masse, so they can lose money on every sale. They'll keep supply low and thus demand high.

Perhaps you're right if they keep production limited they can keep the price high but that's not always the best way to increase sales... And volume sales is what they need to survive.

those cars were over msrp when they first came out though(challangers) the camaro will be the same way starting out just because of the demand. it will be a miracle (or a hook up) if you can find anyone under MSRP. its going to be hard to get one until the lots gets saturated. i know a dealership around me used one of their sold orders as a lot car. meaning, it wasnt really sold. they just ordered it to have it on the lot. im sure some dealers cheated the system and did this too.

U might mean $3500 off MSRP no dealer is gonna sell 1000's under invoice.
I thought they were in biz to make $ if under invoice? no wonder why they are in such a mess!
