Price increase?

Does anyone know about a price increase after Feb 18th?

I would think that since I ordered in Oct that I would get the old prices.
But when I ordered my car the dealer didn't know the prices yet.
So my negotiations were that I wouldn't pay over MSRP.
But if the car comes in with the new prices on the sticker then that might be what I end up paying.
How do I make sure I get the old prices?

I got a paper from a dealership around here (Tom Henry Chevrolet), and all the MSRPs seem to have decreased. All the MSRPs were $750 cheaper than previously announced. These prices are from the Tom Henry Racing unveil on Sunday.

LS MSRP = 22245.00
1LT MSRP = 23880.00
2LT MSRP = 26580.00
1SS MSRP = 30245.00
2SS MSRP = 33430.00

Usually as long as your order is placed before price increases you are protected withe old prices, I know that is how the Vette and othe GM vehicles work.

That probably does not include destination charge, which is $750.

I think you may be right, but still, if there was a price increase, I think these printouts probably would have refleced the increase.

I would think at this point GM is not in a position to be raising prices, but you never know. I think that if there is a price increase then it wouldn't be until a few months after production starts.

What has apparently changed so far is not the MSRP but the GMS/GSU pricing as well as dealer invoice. Apparently there is now LESS between invoice and MSRP as well as less between GMS/GSU and MSRP.

To make a long story short, look at it this way. Chevy is now charging the dealer more and giving less of a discount to employees and suppliers while keeping MSRP the same. That being said, I have to assume all of us pre-orders get the original pricing levels based on "price protection".
