In this video there is a short frontal view of a blue ss. Does anybody know the origin of this picture and if it is the production aquablue metallic color?

That's the first I have seen that pic. Play the video and about the 32-33 second mark...there you go. Anyone else seen this before? Chop maybe?

 

Awesome video. If that's the Aqua Blue, then that looks a HELL of a lot better than what I've seen of the color so far. I could ALMOST deal with that. Still wish for a better shade of blue.

Edit: Upon further inspection. It is a photochop. That picture is of the Black mule that circulated around (with fixed headlights). Notice the flag pole sticking up like an antenna? That's the giveaway. click the link to see the original.

Click on aqua blue to get an idea.

Other than that, there are some other cars that are GM that will have this color in 2009. You should be able to see those in the next month or so to get an idea.

 

on a previous thread someone posted a picture of a 09 Colorado in Aqua Blue. It's hideous. It is the most BLAH Blue you can imagine. I can't seem to find the thread or picture but its here somewhere.

No, it looks ALL bad.
It's such a boring shade, I fell asleep looking at it.
I couldn't think of how you could suck any more color out of it and still call it blue. Its what you would get if a blue car and a silver car had a kid. Some cars shouldn't breed.
Keep in mind that ONLY the color on the Colorado is what we are going to get, not those blue Camaros on that thread.

 

I totally agree, aqua blue metallic looks like sh*t!!! I honestly want the Lemans blue on the 69 Camaro on that thread, or jetstream blue on the vettes as an alternative. Go to your chevy dealer and look at a Colorado in that color. That awful picture actually makes it look better than it really is!!! Its more like the color you would get if a blue car and a pile of crap had a kid. Its awful!!! Visit that thread and vote. we are currently at 78% in favor of a brighter blue! Please go vote!

Looks good in the mid-day sun. No complaints here. Plus, I think some white stripes will "help" the blue pop a little more, if you're concerned about intensity and saturation.

 

i think that blue looks good on the Colorado, and it'll look good on the Camaro
