Weird.

It's true that they're not affiliated with this website, but did they look into it beyond that, or did they just dismiss it as BS as soon as they found out you heard from a non-GM website?

Cheryl Pilcher was qouted on another forum saying it would be fixed so you could get the polished wheels with the RS package.

Please read my earlier posts....I know this, this is the info I went into the dealership (Friday) with...it's one thing if the systems haven't been 'updated' yet, but when my dealership tells me they have contacted GM and GM says this is a myth, they are not affiliated with any websites, and they open a case #....I couldn't help but ask about it on here....

And I haven't heard 1 success story of anyone else adding this option.

Thanks for the replies...

Go in again, and ask them to open another case, but this time, just say you heard it from Cheryl Pilcher via one of the Camaro Disciples. Don't mention the site.

When I mentioned Cheryl Pilcher the first time they looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language.

They are supposed to call me this week, letting me know the outcome of that case #. If I don't hear anything this week, I will go back down there next Monday....

Typically...

A lot of salesman are just that, they are not enthusiasts or even keep up on who is who at GM. They usually only know what is in the product brochure or whatever info is sent to them. If the info isn't placed on their desk, they don't know it.

I hope this is the case. I plan on posting an update here, either when I hear from them, or when I go back next week, whichever comes first.

This is going to be a longgggggggg 4 months....

I don't expect the salesman to know who she is, or even to know about the disciples. I expect him to type that information into the case file so that someone at GM, who actually does know who she is, can see it.

Sorry, I missed this one!

The dealership believed this website, they said GM was the one calling it BS.
