Rumor on recall?

My dad talked to Sonoma Chevrolet today asking if they had received their demo car yet and they told him all the cars that had been delivered were being returned and any in route were being sent back to the factory? This sounds like a bunch of bull to me. Has anyone heard anything similar? I would think any recalls would just be handled at the dealers but I don't know.

Yeah, I don't really believe it either and I would even post it but since a dealer told him this it seemed kinda odd. Plus, I'm pretty sure if it were true someone here would have already heard as well.

The dealers here said the same thing, but when I asked if they were talking about the PCM recode on the indexing windows he said yes, that was why they were being delayed here.

I had some guy at work (you know the one....conspiracy theorist, all around know it all..idiot) tell me today that the Camaro wasn't going to be built. Bet you didn't get that memo either.

I was talking about this:

Edit-> VIN 1443 was delivered so even the cars that are being "fixed" are being shipped as completed.
He was kind of hinting at a problem, I asked about this and he said yes. And yes, it was either he didn't know, or did and couldn't say.
