Well, sure. Any car is controllable when you are only asking for 90-100 of the available horsepower. But if you are only going to be driving gently, why have 600 hp in the first place?

When you start calling for those available 600 horsies to show up and start running, that's when things become a little less practical on the street. Does it mean the car is undriveable? Not at all. But, depending on where you live and your desire to a) not be a reckless lawbreaker and b) not jeopardize other drivers, it becomes a little tougher to use max power when the max is 800 as compared to 400.

I'm not saying I wouldn't like have have a car with some monster power, but like I said, after driving a C6 Z06, I'm not sure what I would DO with that power...

the point of 550-600hp is to beat the competition.even if the car only had 300hp....majority of the time your not even using it. so does it matter if it has 300 or 700? and theres nothing wrong with alot of power, however, i do think they should do something with these cars like cartain mfgr's do with other cars.....they need a "training day". basically show people what the car is capable of and how to drive it. most people buying these cars wont know a thing about handling the power. dont they do something liek this with the zr1?
