Hey Scott,

I was looking at the different colors of the camaro... but something bothered me.... it seems that the proportions on the pictures are a little messed up.

when it should be a bit more like this:

It isn't a big deal... but it changes the proportions and makes it look tall and fat.. which it is NOT. It is a quick change if you can get the web designers to do it pretty quick. It is just to give a more realistic view of what the car really looks like. If they don't have time to do it I'll do it really quick and email the photos to the web designers to upload.

Let me know.

I can't wait to get my hands on a 5th gen to have a photo shoot and of course driving one.

That's because they are altered photos of the concept... not the production car.

It is a bit confusing/distracting. Hope they have something new up soon.

I know that.. but they didn't have to mess with the proportions of the actual picture. They can paint it hot pink for all that I care.. just keep the proportions right.

Well as the proportions of the production car and the concept are different my guess is they tried to make the car in the photo appear narrower and taller.

you might have a point... but it is very narrow and taller at least on my eyes.. compared to the pictures of the silver SS. or I might just be too picky.

Good point, jcamere. I remember the very first picture that was posted (that I still sometimes see) on the official chevy site around the concept unveiling. It was my very first exposure to the car, and I remember thinking, "That is NOT even close to proportional." Here it is:

The guys that designed the car need to also design the web stuff.

I noticed that as well, it's a big difference and not really attractive.

I also noticed it was messed up. What bothers me more is there arent any pictures of the actual production paint. I mean the photochopped ones give and idea of the color. I just wish there were actual photos to see what it really looks like.

They'd have to have preproduction cars painted up in each color, which last I heard... they don't.

I don't think they ever use real cars for paint color images any more. Maybe they never did in the first place.

Hey Scott, Fbodfather, Why was the video taken down of the interior of the car? It showed HUD and the trim accent lighting. Was just curious if it was taken down because changes are being made. Like axing the accent lighting? I hope not. Can you say?

From what I heard, they've got at least a couple, in at least one or two colors other than black, white, or Zebra .

... or the red, silver, orange w/black stripes, and Bumblebee yellow that we've already seen .

(I spoke to someone who claims to have seen a blue one ).
