Re: Scott...NY Auto Show
Hey guys, Luckily I will be in NYC next week for work, and will am planning on going to the show on Monday afternoon once I get settled in my hotel. Just wondering, how hard is it to get tickets at the door? I dont really want to order a ticket online, just incase something comes up work related and I cant make it. Any help...thanks guys.

Re: Scott...NY Auto Show
also, is there a reason that on the NYIAS web page, under concept cars, that the Camaro is not listed? That seems like a mistake, and if not I dont think that will boad well for marketing and such. Yet, on the New York Debuts page, the Mustang special edition is on there twice...HMMM is this show a little on the blue side?

Re: Scott...NY Auto Show
I just was thinking that because Scott said the promotor didnt go with the special showing of the concept. Any ideas about tickets, should I just get them at the door?
Thanks

It's 3 hours from where I live, so I hope it's easy to get them at the door.
The Camaro IS going to be there right? The silver one? It's my biggest reason for going, if it wasn't there I wouldn't bother.

Re: Scott...NY Auto Show
I can't imagine the camaro NOT being there...isn't it the biggest show in the country? I havn't gone in a few years, but I don't remember it being a problem getting tickets at the door...on monday you shouldn't have a problem, I would think there would be bigger crowds on the weekends.
I'll be there Tuesday morning to see my next car

Re: Scott...NY Auto Show
We just got back from the show. Yes, the silver concept is there, and will be for the duration of the NY show.
Tickets at the door... there can be lines, but they will sell all the tickets they can. Just buy them online the morning youre leaving.
Some quick pics courtesy of Dave Hamburger, since he left earlier than we did, he got some online already. I love this car more and more everyday.

Re: Scott...NY Auto Show
I was fortunate enough to be in Detroit, but yesterday, we were afforded the opportunity to get a more intimate look at the Camaro.
As just about everyone has been saying... the pictures do not do the Camaro justice. You just HAVE to go see it in person.
Challenger is there... and I feel the same way as I did when I saw both concepts in Detroit. The Challenger is nice. I like it.... despite being so big and heavy... but compared to the Camaro... well, to me, the Challenger just seems bland... the Camaro eminates so much more energy
and the Mustangs.... LOL. They are a distant thrid in my pecking order. Oh, Ford has the GT-350H there. 330HP. Gee, welcome to 1997 Ford.
