Merry Christmas everyone!
2006 is going to start off with a bang, and it looks like history will be truely repeating itself (though slightly slower), we are in very exciting times and the future does indeed look bright.
Scott thank you for your guidance this past year and during the dark times.
And speaking of good health, this is a good time to really stop smoking, we all want you to be around for a long time. It would be nice to get 1,000+ F-bodies into Bowling Green KY, but it seems to be a hard nut to crack.

Wow, I remember back in 2002 when it was so gloomy for our friend, my jaw dropped to the ground when I found out and I never thought it was coming back. To add to the smoking thing, I agree you should quit too.

Merry Christmas everyone!
So many times I contemplated picking up an '02 and tacking on a "Last of Breed" badge onto it. But this good news gives me greater hopes for the future of the car of my dreams. I think I'll wait.

Re: Seasons Greetings from Scott............
Not to put a damper on the holiday festivities..... but until Bob Lutz recinds his statement that the Firebird is dead then how exactly is the Firebird on "Hiatus"?
A statement Scott said at the Camaro/Firebird reunion in KY has not set well with me..... when asked if the Firebird will ever return and if so, will it share the same architecture as the Camaro, Scott's reply was "You have to ask yourself "why would GM bring back a car that is in direct competition with another GM vehicle"?
I didn't get a chance to ask Scott if his statement is indeed what GM is thinking and it's reason for not bringing back the Firebird, WHY is the Sierra and Silverado in direct competition with each other? Why is the Solstice and Sky in direct competition with each other? These vehicles share architecture and are most certainly in direct competition with each other.
With that off my chest.....
I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year.
