Short video clip from the GM Style Event

This is a short video clip I shot with my digital camera. This was at the very end of the event when all the stars came out with the Camaro Convertible Concept.

The car looks a lot yellower in your video than it does in the media pics. Which is closer to what it looks like in person?

I'm not up and up on my Hollywood faces, but is that Beyonce? Also, is that Jeff Gordon I see in there?

Some of the lighting they had there at the end made the car look yellow in some of my pics and video - it's definetly Orange!

The girl in the purple dress was Jennifer Hudson, an actress from the movie Dreamgirls. Was also a American Idol finalist in season 3.

Jeff Gordon wasn't there (as far as I could see). There was a guy who was also in the fashion show by the name of Laird Hamilton. He's some surfer guy. Maybe that is who you were referring to?

It may have not been too funny to you, but it sure as heck was accurate.

It's not accurate. She looks like a regular size American girl, in my honest opinion.

I think that the flagrant disrespect of you guys is uglier than anything I saw in that video.

What I dont get is why these "stars" were even needed. Last NAIAS it was all about the car and the history(at least for the Camaro), this time around a bunch of people who could probably care less about the Camaro concept are blocking the car from view. lol With the exception of Carmen Electra (who should have been in a bikini draped accross the hood) they should have stayed at home IMO. Anyone else agree?

The difference between last year's NAIAS and this event is the fact this this wasn't NAIAS. This was the GM style event. From what I gather, it's all about showing off GM's latest designs and having a group of celebrities to up the excitement about the new models. Everybody loves celebrities (or so it seems) and if you can get enough of the ones people want to see, it makes people that much more excited about attending the event. How fun would any of the awards ceremonies be if none of the actors or actresses were there?
