I watched the part where they talked to the stars and such live. They said they were now going to the actual show (the cars) and it went black. Didn't come back up, and it's telling me the samething. The Red Carpet Event is over. I don't want the Red Carpet Event, I want the actual cars...

That was a horrible tease. I wouldn't have wasted my time watching if I knew I wasn't gonna get to see the cars.

Yep.....that's an hour I won't get back now. I guess we weren't invited to see the big event........maybe Jason and Chris will have some video to post later.

I lost the feed as well at around 8:00 pm when Kimmel and the 2 ditz-brains finished the "interviews". I tuned in from pretty well the beginning of the webcast and it looked to me that Jimmy Kimmel was already 3 sheets to the wind! Gotta love that good ol' GM hospitality!! As well, he seemed a bit unsure as to where he needed to be holding the mike when his guests were talking.
Definite kudos though to Ed Welburn on his effective answers and diplomatic handling of the "correspondent" who was interviewing him - he is one helluva classy guy! My hat is off to him!
I really got a kick out the comment from Dave Rand, GM's Executive Director of Interior Design, who stated that after the Camaro was discontinued in 2002, that the factory was converted to produce other models!!!
Long live Ste. Therese!... if only in our memories!
I'd just like to see the classic exchange (one more time) between Kimmel and Nick Lachey involving their innuendos with respect to Nick "trying out the new models" that were present during the evening... and it wasn't the cars they were talking about!
I really hope the actual unveiling was more impressive than the lead-up!
Best regardSS,
Elie
