I would have hoped that since the car's official release, perhaps people would be.....I dunno.....HAPPY that it looks and sounds so good? Instead the doom and gloom has grown even BIGGER!! And this is a CAMARO ENTHUSIAST site!!

I know everyone is justified in having an opinion (regardless of how realistic it is or not), and I know that everyone will defend that opinion to the end (regardless of how many times it's been proven wrong) - and I'm not trying to end discussion or suggest that we all become cheerleaders for GM regardless of circumstances.

BUT having said all that - within GM's business case there are many good reasons why the new Camaro is what it is. Despite all the complaining, does anyone seriously think the Camaro would be approved today? As it stands, GM has created a car that actually has a chance of succeeding spectacularly due to the strength of the v6. Obviously they've learned something from the past - maybe we should too and remember that Camaro could easily still be dead!
