Upon reading the original thread, it appears this is another movie/tv prop car. It could very well be cobbled together by the movie company to look like what they want an SS to look like (ie. offset SS badge in the grill, no badging on the side, ect). Could also explain the still to my eye prototype looking back up light placement right smack in the middle of the bumper. I see no reason why it couldnt be located in the concepts position just above the pipes. And those mufflers gotta go too, or at least get a coat of high temp black on them.

Other than that, bodywise, the car is fantastic!

Can't believe the guy was that close and didn't get one of the interior.

i love the car, but i think they should add an ss badge under the name camaro on both sides of the car

Totally different angles of camera to subject in those two pics. The angle being more from the side in the "new pic" would tend to make the rear look not as wide, I think they are probably pretty close in proportion.

I agree ... they're not "hideous" where they are, but they do sorta look "lost" in the middle of the bumper . They should be mounted vertically right beside the license plate, like the newer Vettes have/had.

Looks like that's the way it's going (Z28 > SS). Sorry, SS guys . Although, to be perfectly honest, I don't know if a supercharged engine really fits with what "Z/28" should be (was) all about . I guess we'll have to wait and see what they give it for a suspension package . But as far as horsepower??? I don't think anybody should be disappointed!!! (regardless whether you're talking about the "base" SS, or the top performer Z28).

Car looks good though .

very nice job gm. as promised it does very close to the concept. those two mufflers sticking out are ugly but a cat back could fit that.
