Smooth Locks on my Black 1SS/RS Camaro

Hey guys,
Won a free smooth lock from Jason D and finally got to take pictures of it installed. Not the best camara in the world, but give you a better idea how they look on the car. In my opinion, go to the site and buy them now! Even though i got them for free, i would pay 10 bucks for these. THEY LOOK GREAT! and they just complete the clean look.

That does look very nice! It's amazing how the small details can make a big difference.

so what happens if you need to use your key to unlock the door? does it just pop off or something?

Looks awesome! Can't wait to put mine on as well.

Yes, you can just put it off then.

I have a set on my '02 Z that I 'won' at the first CZ28 summit. I have had to pull them off a couple times (dead remote batteries) and they still stick great. Mine aren't painted though, the paint might crack if you peel them off.

It sure does! That's the benefit to these. They are small, inexpensive, and a snap to apply...but they make such a HUGE difference.

Yep, they can be removed. From the SmoothLock web site...

Q. What if I need to remove them?
A. If you need to remove your SmoothLocks, simply peel them off. The adhesive is very strong, and this might take a bit of effort and care (especially if you painted your SmoothLocks, the paint may crack if you are not careful removing them).

If they are painted, use a soft guitar pick to slide under it. The adhesive is very strong but not permanent. If it ever gets weak, just a thin layer of automotive trim adhesive will do the trick but that is not often. I have had one on my 2007 Trailblazer SS. I painted it myself and it has had zero problems staying on for over 20,000 miles and many car washes. I use materials that just work well, I made sure of it.
