i thought the 11 was gonna be a z28? but still a ss? whats the news on this, sorry if this was asked before i dint really feel like looking for it lol

 

As of right now, no "Z28" has been officially confirmed. You might want to search for it and read up, there is a lot of discussion here about it.

 

Also, if the Z/28 DOES come back (as suspected), it won't replace the SS. It would be a model level higher in the heirarchy. Much like Ford has the Mustang GT, Boss, and GT500 models.

Mustang: Base V6 -> GT -> Boss -> GT500
Camaro: Base V6 -> SS -> Z/28 (if it happens)

 

The rumor has always been for model year 2012, anyway.
