yeah moron the other video sound works but it's me.
Maybe it's the slow company T1 I was watching it on.
It's GM's lack of bandwidth or other GM IT problems smart guy. Other people had to reload the thing multiple times too. I guess it was also them not GM.

Webcast worked for me.
But it was kind of poor, they should learn from Steve Jobs and Apple.
Anyway it is good to see that it is on schedule. Now we have to wait for the Z28. Noted that all the colorexamples lacked a striped version. they must have saved that for the Z.

You didn't really miss anything, I wouldn't get all worked up about it.

Should I not buy a new Dell computer because the Dell service man drives a rusty 2002 E250?
I don't wish to be rude but I think it was cool that they broadcast it at all. All the videos posted on chevy.com/camaro are high quality which is probably why they chose to keep the webcast short and sweet. Which is exactly what they told us, the production unveiling will be broadcasted live on the web. It was everyone in the media and on forums that blew it out of proportion and now they are complaining.

I had no problems with actually seeing the webcast. As for the car itself:
-No real info on options, although it certainly seems a HUD and HID's will be offered and those were my big two.
-A little disappointed that there are only summer tires on the SS, but then, my Trans Am was a daily driver and I'm not planning on an SS being one so I just need to adjust my own mindset.
-I'm disappointed in the mileage estimate for the SS. I'd expected better than 23 hwy, but then, I think my old '99 T/A WS6 was rated at 20mpg hwy so it's a pretty good increase. I was hoping for something that really blew me away (like 28
-LOVE the color selections!! It's going to be REALLY hard choice, although the Cyber Gray Metallic, Rally Yellow, Imperial Blue Metallic and Red Jewel Tintcoat are my favorites so far.
Overall it was a little anti-climatic though because the pictures leaked last week - GM needs to do better with embargoing information. Still - we all got the car we saw in concept form, so I CAN'T complain!! Thanks GM!!

It was a press oriented event. This is GM's first official day talking about Camaro production vehicles. They are not going to just read off a bunch of specs to the press and start fielding questions from the internet...
They will give the press the same info they have put up on Chevy.com/Camaro and let them write the stories.
