I honestly didn't think Guy's post ("guionM") was that "rude" or "sarcastic", but maybe it's because I understand where he's coming from?? But all he was doing was making his points blatently clear . It's also to (hopefully) help any future people who come in here and are "newer" to the site, and want to ask the same questions. If they SEARCH for the words "pricing", "options", or "specs" in the '09 Camaro forum, this thread (as well as many others) WILL show up, and if they read it, the information will be very clear!!

Until further notice, we still know (almost) nothing .

I guess I dont see what the big deal is here. The concepts specs are well known. We all know it will get thinner for production but we dont know by how much. It is as wide as an SUV. The rest of the specs will be close to the concept, as they are close to 06 Mustang specs as it is. OF COURSE THIS IS SPECULATION!!! I hope this is helpful...

Too human for this website, for sure.

You have to remember, several of the regulars have been here for years. Most of these types of questions have been asked and answered more times than any of us care to mention. That is why there are sticky posts. That is why there is an archive.

The bottom line is ask a stupid or redundant question and you will get flamed. Is that the right response? Maybe not. However it does weed out the undesireables.

That's the kind of dumbass response that is ruining this site. I used to browse these forums regularly until all of these "I'm holier than thou" replies started popping up on a regular basis. What gives you the right to determine who is "undesirable" or not? All you are doing is hurting Jason and this website by your own "undesirable" responses. The creator of this thread will probably never return to this site because of the actions of a few people on this board. Jason needs to crack down on this before we start losing a lot more people.

Guys, this is why sometimes people get frustrated with the site and with the search side and never come back. I visit here daily and forget topics we cover, along with the fact that a lot of the main topic gets buried in banter like this, it can be hard to find the info you need. So, really we should be looking at ourselves and not the new people visiting the site. If we muddle up a thread with back talk, sarcastic comments, and misinformation(which there is a ton of, even on here) it makes us look bad on top of the fact that people can't find good answers. Instead of writing 4 paragraphs about why they are idiots and search, just put the freakin' link your response instead. What is anyone gaining shooting people down? I have seen this more times than I can count, and sometimes I feel like this is an "Old Boys Club" here. Now I'm becoming the same person I was complaining about. Doh!

It does get tireing. I understand its like working in a retail store where every customer asks similar questions when youre looking for new info, but it doesnt help. If it wasnt for Charlie, Guy and Scott and a few others we wouldnt know anything either. At least I wouldnt

Exactly. Basically what it comes down to is, if you don't like reading the same questions over and over again, skim over it!! I think it's better for an "old timer" to ignore "nuisance" threads than to ignore new members. Huh, my first post on this message board was "LT1 vs. LS1" ... ...

...if you feel like answering the person, great! If not, someone else will, but new members don't need to be flamed for their (perceived) "ignorance" . We were all newbies at one time .

I understand the winkie and all of the other little insider comments made on here but do you think that the new guy does? This is what we need to get away from. All of these little games isn't helping this site's image much. The truth of the matter is that only one guy on this site has any insider knowledge. Everyone else is just regurgitating information that they have found somewhere else or from our resident insider himself.
I haven't seen anymore responses from the guy/gal that created this thread which means we'll probably never see him or her again. Whether your comments were in jest or not still doesn't help.

This forum is to help people, period. People come here looking for information, not to be criticized and insulted. The rest of the world doesn't know everything like some of you think you do.

People looking for new information are always welcome here, as well as those who want to help them find it.

It comes down to this:
Either contribute in a positive manner or do not contribute at all.

This site has ZERO ROOM for people with arrogant or elitist attitudes. ZERO.

I didn't think my original comment was arrogant or elitist. After re-reading what I posted, I still feel the same way, however I can understand where someone unfamiliar with my history of posts and comments could mistake my original intent.

For this I appologize to anyone I may have offended.

I still believe some people here take themselves and their comments far too seriously. That was the point I was trying to make.

Let it go everyone. I have and I am the one everone is talking about. I know what the search function is. I am not a newbee. I had been on this board for several years under a different SN. I didn't get to check out the board for awhile and was unable to sign on to my old SN. So, I got a new one. I haven't had much time to keep up on the new Camaro so I posted this. My bad.
