Stang owners fear future Camaro...
...and they should too.
IDK if you guys have read up at all on what the competition thinks, but I think it's pretty interesting. To my surprise, the vast majority (based on what I read) seem to like the new Camaro - and they're all talking S/Cs now for their rides

The guys over at blueovalnews.com seem, for the most part, to be quite taken with it...

Re: Stang owners fear future Camaro...
If GM ever built a camaro that looked that euro I would throw-up
I hate euro look-- can I say it again I hate anything euro in a muscle car.
If you like that just go buy you a MB and get on with it

What's Euro about it? I think it's a BelAir and GTO PS'd together.

IMO at least, the 3rd and 4th gen's lineage is off the 2nd gen...
Which is why with the Camaro concept, they only show the 1st gen...
However, the concepts got a great profile, lowslung and wide (which was the look they were going for on the 2nd gen, based on european exotics), which is the best thing I liked about the 4th gen.. So I'm still happy..

That "Bel Air" concept may be yet another case of GM squandering a perfectly good and nostalgic brand name . . . It is really awful looking. It's shape is really uninspired and derivative of some previous GM vehicles . . .
