T-Tops out of place?

T-Tops out of place?
I can't imagine T-Tops looking very good on the concept because of the rear side windows.. so they will probably be done away with, sadly. Also.. from what people can tell from the concept.. will the glass open with the trunk? Or is it a normal trunk? If it's a regular trunk that's going to be damned small.
I really don't think T-Tops will be available...
My opinion:
Rear doesn't look Camaro. Looks scrunched.. Taillights awesome but don't fit too well with the overall car.
Also a great thing that the concept addresses problems such as overhang, and IRS.

Re: T-Tops out of place?
With the design of the roof with the raised areas running over the driver and passenger head areas I don't think T-tops would look right. Of course those are the kinds of details that I'd expect are primed to get "normalized" for a production model...
Frankly I don't really want the T-tops personally, I've had them on various Camaros for literally 6+ years and I think I've actually used them on about 5 different days, lol...
I can see where it would suck to be a big fan of them and then they turn up absent though. I'm kinda betting they're gone...

If the engineers could come up with a more integrated design I think it could be do-able. Remember that something like 60% of 4th gens were ordered with T-tops. That kind of popularity speaks volumes when packaging decisions are made.

Those lines are way too far apart to be dividers for the t-tops. I am willing to bet that this car will NOT have t-tops. The only option I could see is a targa like the Vette.

T-tops suck anyway. If anything I'd put my money on a targa top unless they're going back to the looney-body construction making a targa just about impossible. It sounds like it's going to be a full frame car somehow though.

Re: T-Tops out of place?
Either T-Tops or Targa would be fine by me. To me this gives the feeling of a convertible without breaking up the lines of the car. Lack of T-Tops is what held me away from considering a mustang when the Camaros where put to sleep(thank goodness).
