From Today's Jalopnik:
"Similar to the Trans Am but even less classy, the Camaro is the unofficial mount of the trailer-park king. Widely viewed as the exclusive ride for anyone in a double-wide, it's brushed off by folks who long ago trimmed the party end off their mullet and threw out their Whitesnake tapes. Their loss. They don't know the party's not just at Hookup 12 any more."

Glad to know that I'm right there! I have both Whitesnake and Molley Hatchet on my IPod in the glovebox. I think I have a Members Only jacket somewhere in the back of the closet, I'll have to look.

my dads got a vette and it pretty much describes him. lol. as far as the camaro, i can say im far from their description.
i like how he defended the miatatoo. says its seen as a chick car. then he says its an amazing atuocross car. which it may be. but he didnt defend any other cars but that one. i think he may own a miata. im guessing orange like corky romano's or pink.

Actually they defended quite a few cars on the list. The E36 M3 and the WRX were both described as awesome or capable cars despite their stereotypes. Makes you wonder why Corvettes weren't stuck up for in the same manner. Hell, even the Civic was hailed as "responding great to tasteful mods" and a "great autocross car".

I know what you are thinking - "redneck". Couldn't they just come-out and write that then, instead of implying that only trailer-park-living, mullet-wearing, stuck-in-the-80's-and-its-music people drive Camaros? Seems like they find much glee in thinking-up as many stereotypical insults as they can...
